Each night she wonders why she had to be different than the other kids. Ava Sterling is a sixteen-year-old girl with supernatural powers and the emotional range of an ocean. Her foster mom, June, was the only person who had been there for her whole life and though she is grateful for her existence, she always wondered about her biological parents. She spends her whole life trying to control her powers, understand herself and most importantly, seek for the truth of her life. But she forgets a crucial fact; sometimes the truth isn’t always a beautiful thing.

Hi! I’m Anuzsa and I’m 16 years old. I am an extroverted teenager with an unhealthy obsession for books, Marvel movies and Harry Potter franchises. I am a naturally clumsy person and was typing this story with a swollen nose. I somehow punched it myself. My greatest passions are reading, writing and daydreaming which I am often caught doing. I spend my free time either buried deep in a novel or writing about random things around me in a notebook. I find that it helps improve my writing skills and I also get inspiration from my trusty notebook when I’m trying to come up with a story. I think it’s so beautiful that we are capable to create a whole alternate universe simply by writing, how we have the power to impact someone so deeply merely through writing. This realisation inspired to write and create my own stories that can hopefully help in the process of changing the world for the better. I know it’s a long and hard journey, but no journey ever starts if we don’t take the first step. So, this is my first step; the beginning of my dream coming to life.
