Young Author Scheme
- $500.00
Product Description
The Young Author Scheme is Singapore’s first-ever scheme to train young authors, from as young as eight years old. Under the Young Author Scheme, children get to learn to write their very own 3000-word storybooks and improve descriptive skills. All stories are entered into the Asia Young Author Award, a regional writing competition for under-18s. Shortlisted and winning stories are published in ebooks or in print, or in the Young Reader Club magazine. At the end of the course, all children will take home 2 complimentary printed copies of their story – for additional copies, they can opt to purchase for $10 per copy with a minimum order of 20 copies. The course will be taught by Catherine Khoo – she is an author, educator, editor and publisher and has been running this course since 2003.
